Hi all
I have finally got my site up and running, and am looking for some suggestions on how i can attract people to come along and register..
its a free register site, at the moment ive set the site as free to list, but charge a 5% final sellers fee.

How did everyone else go about promoting ?

I started off with an event on facebook, a few days before it went live to attract friends and friends of friends but only got 5 out of a possible 425

I have purchased a promotional video clip from fiverr which ive uploaded to youtube, facebook, twitter etc, and listed it with loads of free submission sites.

Any ideas ?

P.S. also, any feedback about my site would be much appreciated, i think it looks a little dull, as ive used the WeBid Script..
So any suggestions on how to make it look good would also be appreciated too Smile

The website is at: www.321-auctions.com

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Always a catch-22 situation this with new auction sites. Personally I would
have tried to target one niche in the market rather than just a general
auction site covering everything.

I would add your location details to the site, a proper contact page, domain
related email address.

When I looked at the items on offer - there is no bid or buy it now buttons
on display. I am guessing that you may have to be logged in to see those?
There is no information though on how to bid or buy for those folks
visiting and perhaps looking to buy or bid.

Design/colours are a bit bland.

HTH

Cheers

Steve
