We are a new auction site, new to both Auction LotWatch and to the auction market. As such I would like to introduce BiddingYard

BiddingYard is a brand new penny auction website offering both "regular" and seated penny auctions. We have also introduced other bidding-tools that we are sure you will love since they are intended to enhance your bidding strategies.

The doors to BiddingYard are open now, however our first batch of auctions are due to end on our official launch day - 7 June 2010

We are very excited to seeing all of you on our winners list.

In the meantime be sure to make use of our early members promotions and reserve your space in our PrivateAuctions.

BiddingYard offers a brand new seated auction concept called a PrivateAuction.

PrivateAuctions work like this:

• You purchase a seat using your bought bid-tokens.
• Then inside the PrivateAuction you will receive your free bid-tokens which are equal to the cost of the seat (these are your Free SeatBids). So if a seat costs 5 bid-tokens you will receive 5 Free SeatBids to use in the PrivateAuction)
• Both your Free SeatBids and your regular bid-tokens can be used to bid on the auction
• By booking a seat in a PrivateAuction you will be eligible to purchase SuperBids. SuperBids are bids that will be refunded back to you after the auction. We like to call this our bids back guarantee.

PrivateAuctions have two different settings

• Either they will have a required amount of “Seats to Launch”. The required amounts of seats to launch is different to the maximum amount of seats. A PrivateAuction with 50 seats may begin once 10 seats are sold. The remaining seats will remain available
• Or they will begin right away (there will not be a minimum amount of seats required).

If the “seats to launch” is not met by the planned launch date then all members who booked seats will be fully refunded.
