I've removed a few auctions from eBay over the past few weeks. All were 99p reserve and the list price of the itmes were from £10 to £50,none had a bid with a day or so to run.I decided I could either wait and see if people using some program or another were going to bid at the last minute or wait and fing out the hard way that no one or maybe just one person was going to pt in a bid.Watching isn't a reliable indication of bidding intent as I;ve had shop items with twenty watchers before now.
If you are using auction sniping software on something it might be an idea to put in a bid so at least the seller can see there's some interest.
I've still the odd auction running on eBay but to be honest as things are I prefer to sell from my own web site, its cheaper and far less hassle.

You can still find last minute bargains - by using our AuctionFinal tool Smile

It will show all closing auctions - with no bids - at a price you enter -
across all eBay categories: http://www.auctionfinal.com

Yeah I totally agree.. buyers are alot more clued up and will probably screw you like all the other scammers if they could. I find if there is a decent amount of interest then you should get the price you are looking for early on.... anything like you have mentioned then there is probably not enough demand.

Apart from the last moment bid, you should bid in between to get insight of the whole bidding process... Smile
