Hi , I have created a new Online Auction Website called : www.u-bidder.com this wbesite was created for buyers and sellers who dont want to pay high prices for selling their goods. On www.u-bidder.com we dont charge listings fees , it is completly free. We have just started advertsing our webiste and at the moment so we dont have alot of members but hopefully soon that will change. Please if you could check it out and register and start buying and selling that would be great.

www.u-bidder.com

And also spread the word.

Thanks

I'm not sure the choice of platform makes much difference. I suspect sites like Specialist Auctions & Tazbar are probably based on the same or very similar and Zolanta most definitely is. All of those sites to a greater or lesser degree have made some progress.

Whether a site makes progress depends on much more important factors than the platform it uses. It has to gain credibility by publicity to gain both sellers and listings and buyers and then get some actual sales. The key to it seems to be start off with a decent number of listings & members by persuading friends and contacts to join. No site with 13 items (as this one currently has) is going to get anywhere, particularly in the current economic climate.
