Facebook... it is a social bookmarking site. I suggest you to use that. I'm not promoting the site , the site really works, very useful . |

You need to be very careful with all these social networking sites not to give away too much personal information. They are regularly mined for this by those folk who go in for identity fraud. |

We have used face book a lot to boost our clients early promotion. We find it very very expensive for the type of traffic. So much so that we don't advise our clients paying for it. We show them how to find vouchers for short term promotions only. But we do similer with Yahoo and Google as most of our clients don't really have the money for these places. |

the best way to promote on facebook is using the facebook ad to promote with a credit which you can use also.
I have a $50 that i use to promote there...but when it was finished , i droped it...but i make some $$ from it anyway. |

Yes, you can use facebook for promotional services, but it is costly and depends on the budget. |

Facebook can be used very effectively to promote your business, CastOff.net, who i work for, started on Facebook a few months before our website launched so using Facebook raised awareness about our site launching PLUS by the time we did launch we had 2000+ users on our Facebook page. So without Facebook, our launch day wouldn't of been so successful. |

I have to agree with johnnykiddle from Castoff.net we too have found Facebook to be great for our website BidBudgie.co.uk, especially when we first launched. We found facebook to be much more effective than twitter. |

Facebook is with out doubt one of the best ways to get more business and visitors... not only are you getting direct access to your clients but also with their friends!
We started our Facebook page a few months ago and its been getting better ever since.
Don't forget to setup your facebook page URL once you reach 25 'likes' as it all helps SEO. |
