Why are you giving away free credits when sellers are not intrested or they don't have time because they love eBay. I think the key point is Advertising. You need to spend money on Advertising your site. I don't think It's a good idea to let sellers list items for free and not a good idea to give them free credits because it will put your value down. You need get back on the drawing board and plan all this out. The reason for Auction sites failing is because they offer free Auction listing. Yahoo is a gigantic company and use to have a Auction site and even they failed because they did not charge and sellers were selling items extremely expensive which brought the down fall of yahoo Auctions.

every new auction site someone is trying to get up and runnning auction city is always there saying peopel LOVE eBay ( maybe your workign for eBay and getting a bit worried ) but to put it to facts yes people everywhere use eBay including myself but if u contact peopel through forums, networking sites ALOT of people are getting annoyed with the price it is to list things on there ect, especially in these hard financial times.
so maybe it will give people offering free credit a chance to get there sites up and running

There are plenty of successful sites that don't charge listing fees eg eBid (though you can pay if you want certain features), specialist auctions, etc. But the problem with Auctiondemon is it justn't hasn't been promoted enough so there aren't many sellers. Also on the front page replica Louise Vuitton handbags are being advertised which is quite illegal. That would put reputable buyers off who don't want to be competing with fake goods.
