Hello Everyone

Can i re-introduce my auction sites to you all again

www.gbauctions.co.uk ....is my first auction site. Launched in dec of last year, the site is now starting to move forward with nearly 200 registered users, over 25 stores and sales being made. This is a standard type auction site using the PHPProbid script. Registration is free and charges are very minimal with a strict no sale no fee basis in operation.

www.auctionsworldwide.net ....is my new auction site re-launched in September this year with a new script and completely new concept. Currently we have 40 registered users and over 300 listings (If my addition is correct)
The script being used for this site is the Anserv PHP script. This site is definately like no other currently operating on the internet.

Heres some of the features.
Two level registration. Buyer only or buyer/seller.
Open or private by invitation only auctions with NO buy now
Open and/or private auction rooms with NO buy now
Reverse Auctions for all.
Garage or house clearance sales by auction or buy now
High Street Stores, buy now only, for the upmarket and branded items
The market Hall for the general run of the mill items. buy now only
There are free auctions, auction romms and stores for all registered charities.
The site is ALL page ssl secure and the script is 56 bit encrypted.
There is live support, Tell a friend referal program, blogs, private members only forum and many more user friendly features.
Registration is free, and again only minimal fees. Auctions have no listings fees, very small extras fees, a low FVF and a no sale no fee basis.
Stores have only a small store fee depending on ther number of items listed.

The remarkable thing about this site is even with such low users and listings at this time, good sales are being made.
It is a global site, but sellers can choose to what countries they sell to or to sell only to there country of residence.
RSS feeds are being added and a discount module for multiple purchases.
The site is multi lingual and sellers have the choice of currency. There are currently 8 payment gateways available and more to be added.
The HS and MH stores have a rather unique feature too. There are only main categories. Sellers actually create there own sub categories to suit there listings range.

There is a listings quantity feature too. And because of this, we DO NOT Allow multiple listings of the same item from the same seller.

There is a advertising campaign ongoing in the USA through the PennySaver classifieds network.

Really there so much to say about the site, so why not pay a visit and give it a test drive and see for yourself.

One other point that may interest future sellers to both sites. We are starting a combined sellers/aww self promotion campaign. We are drawing up personalised and or default flyers/newsletters for each seller on both sites. Using the office 2008 publisher we will mail to each seller in PDF format so they can be printed and sent out with each sale made. Dont know how successfull this will be, but if supported theres no reason why it shouldnt help bring in many more new buyers to the site.

Thanks

Chris.

A Further Update

The first two of the four niche' areas to the site are live and open. They are The Motor Mart A very comprehensive aucto, truck, rv, accessories and spare parts section to the site.
And Cottage Industries The complete niche' for all hand crafted items from around the world.

I am still adding to the categories for both, but apart from that they are complete. Both are fully integrated into the site yet operate independantly for easier use.

The final two niche's will be live very soon, thus completing AWW fully.
