Dream auction for buyers should have.

1. Bidding to lower the price. Most auction have bidding system where buyers bid and the price is raised by a certain amount. I feel every buyer wants to buy the product at a discount. (well I would love to.) Then why should a buyer bid to raise the price. The buyer should bid such that the price of the product is lowered.

2. protection from fraudulent sellers. most frauds start when buyer makes payment and the seller does not ship the product. In such cases the refunds to the buyer is delayed or not received. The auction house should have a provision such that the payment is held by the auction house and processed only after the shipment is confirmed. This will help in processing the refunds faster.

Bidding to lower the price i think doesnt make sense, everyone would just hit the bid button until the item is free loll.

I know this is how tripleclicks operates . You buy from a seller , tripleclicks holds your payment until you have receive your item. Once you have received your item you need to review this item. This confirms you received it , then the seller is paid. This is a true protection from fraudulent sellers.
