New Auction Site With NO FEES EVER!

Hi folks I have been selling on ebay for a long time now, and just got really fed up of forever paying out, especially now as they are raising fees again. I have tried other sites too, and they all seem to charge you over and over one way or another. I have found one that doesnt! Ok they are new and just starting out, but I think they will be big, and I have started selling on it. There is already a few thousand members and it is growing daily. Its called EASYBID and guess what.... It is FREE to register - FREE to List - FREE to advertise (yes you can add URL's to listings) and FREE to sell. In short there are NO FEES. The only things they do charge for, and understandably so are enhancements and stores BUT they have a one time upgrade option that gives you those free for life as well. However upgrading is optional, you can still use the site totally free. I would register free, get your items up there and start bringing your clients in. I tell all my buyers now, buy from me at EasyBid as I am selling it cheaper because I dont have to pay fees, and they are all coming over. Think what it will do for your sales, even as a secondry sale source in the early days. http://www.easybid.biz I think it will be big Tony tmwgifts

I think the site owners are to be congratulated on clearly stating the ownership and contact details which is something a lot of the small sites are curiously shy about, despite it being a legal requirement in the UK. There seem to be quite a few items listed but on sampling people's feedback it appears that so far not a lot seems to be actually selling. The problem with having virtually no fees is that there is then little money to support the site's maintenance and development. Personally I prefer to pay a final value fee as I think that encourages the owners to improve the site, eg ebid, Tazbar, Specialist Auctions etc. The owners of Easybid need to keep a closer eye on what is actually being listed. Already some new US seller is trying to flog the old PayPal chain letter scam. That's actually a pyramid scheme where the first few people at the top can make a lot of dosh but all the folk further down lose out. Despite what the lister says, that's actually illegal under both US and UK law. Hopefully the owners will remove it. I wouldn't go on a site where a blind eye is turned to such things and there are sadly plenty of sites that do that.

Hi There and thanks for your comments.I have passed them on to the admin, and they replied back quite quickly. The ad you mentioned has been removed and they are keeping an eye on the ads and listings being posted for this kind of thing. As they grow they told me they will have staff employed just to screen listings. As for the sales, I can confirm there are sales, I have sold and bought things myself. However I will comment that a lot of the items have no bids shown, because a large majority of the are buy it now, so no bids are actually possible on them, they are straight sales.I did also point out about the fees part, and they say they have done it that way to get people using the site and giving people a fair chance to make sales, especially as they have not been launched long.EasyBid does charge for stores and for enhancements and they have their upgrade option for those fees, in addition they sell banner space on the site too which makes up for the free member benefits.OK it will have to make improvements etc etc, but I think it has a pretty good base and starting position. At least they care about what they are doing!Tonytmwgifts
